Special Sessions for High School Students


High School Student Session on Artificial Intelligence and Its Applications

Artificial intelligence has shown remarkable successes in various real-world applications. The applications of computation intelligence are now shaping the way in various domains, such as businesses, governments, and educational institutions. This special session provides a platform for high school students to increase their participation in the field of computational intelligence. The high school students are encouraged to submit the report or results on their special projects in school or self-study projects on any aspect of computational intelligence or its applications.

Topics/Areas

The high school students are encouraged to submit their reports, which are related to Artificial Intelligence or its applications. They are encouraged to submit the reports on the following topics, but are not limited to:

  • Artificial Intelligence
  • Machine Learning
  • Data Mining
  • Applications of Artificial Intelligence
  • Intelligent learning systems
  • Intelligent monitoring and tutoring systems
  • Smart classroom
  • Recommendation Systems
  • Classification
  • Clustering
  • Anomaly Detection
  • Data analytics and big data applications

Paper Submission:

Each paper should be within 6 pages, including figures, tables and references. All papers should be submitted using the IEEE two-column conference style file. Submissions to TAAI 2021 are single-blind, i.e. the names affiliations of the authors should be listed in the submitted version. Paper registration is required for the inclusion of papers in the conference. In addition, one of the authors of the accepted paper must present the work at this special session of TAAI 2021.

  • Paper notification: September 21st, 2021
  • Camera ready and registration due date: October 8th, 2021
  • Conference date: November 18-20th, 2021
